It was our first foray into promoting TREKS activities and it turned out to be an exciting and productive one. Exciting because we were probably the odd booth that hadn’t any ‘real’ gardening products to sell except the ‘fresh air in Genting Highlands and plenty of naturally green stories to tell. It was productive in that we were surprised at the many curious and interested people who made enquiries and the many people that appreciated our ideas and the effort we had put in. In all we met people with families who were keen on the walks for their kids, senior folks who wants a change of walk venue, corporate citizens who were interested to plan nature activities for their colleagues, people who wanted to collaborate on green ideas, young people who are keen to try out new venues, experts who wants to help out and and people on the travel industry who wants to come and visit to explore possibilities.
The flawless organization by organisers Angie and Wynee coupled with a beautiful concourse offer booth participants and the mall’s visitors a wonderful two days full of interaction and engagements.
The receptive and enthusiastic visitors at every educational talks session seem relaxed yet engrossed at what were shared by various speakers.
It was an awesome event for 24 hrs over 2 days. I must say we all look forward to the next one.
