Discovering The Amazing Moths of Genting Highlands with Participants of STAR NiE Picture Perfect Holiday Program – 10.9.2017

From L-R: Praveen, Jynn, Geene, Farisya, Jannah, Levin, Johnny, June, Jessica, Pat, Brendan and Beatrice

A little drizzle preceded our arrival to the Awana Skyway Station at the Sky Forest ( Chin Swee Temple). Taking the newly installed escalator-walkway from the open car park opposite the pagoda up to the Station, we encountered a number of small and medium size moths that were resting on the walls, glass panels and on the floor. There weren’t that many but there was enough variety to showcase some of 1,300 species of moths we had discovered and photo-documented two months earlier.

No sooner had we reached the exit of the Station, the team arrived led by Johnny, the accompanying Genting PR executive.
